Text: Now that I remember, my ex-mother-in-laws maiden name was Papineau. What was your fathers name. Actually, I believe who you originally got your information from is wrong (and that is "my" sisters husband) they live in Concord, NC. I was married to Richard Jakey - have two children - Tina & Renay. Tina is now Tina Page and has one son - Gregory Scott Page and Renay is now Renay Shull - pregnant with her first child (due in a month). Richard lives in Florida with his 2nd wife - Mary. Tina also lives in Florida, Fort Myer, Fl. Both of my kids are in contact with their father (Richard). I also believe that Richards brother Bill lives in Florida. He has one son named Scott. They have one sister - Terri. She lives in Michigan - had two children, Michael & Shannon. There was also another brother - George. I do not know where he is. If you would like, I could get you a phone number and address for Richard and give you some more missing information. By the way, George and Shirley Jakey are both deceased. That was the parents.

Text: William Paterson's father was Thomas, whom I did not know. From a lady who once gave piano lessons to my father, James, I heard that Tom Paterson departed Scotland from Glasgow. She was not clear about whether that was merely a point of departure for him or if Glasgow was actually his home. She speculated that he might have abandoned a wife in Glasgow.

My best guesses about Tom Paterson and his life after Glasgow is that he probably came to North America via Nova Scotia. I've heard about New Brunswick in old stories.

My sister found your website and shared it with me. My name is Yvonne
Papineau Combies. Daughter of Omer Roderick Papineau. My father is still
living and well at 84 yrs of age. We live in Rhode Island. I was amazed to
find myself under my married name. You even had the church where we were
married! I wanted to give you a few updates. First of all, I have 2
daughters, Amber and Jade. When I went to my father's site. It listed his
children but only my sister Jeanne's birth date. My sister Doris' birthday
is Jan. 26th, My birthday is Nov. 14th, My brother Ronnie's is Feb. 22nd and
my brother Paul's is Feb. 19th. Also, my sister Doris's middle name is not
Cecile, I believe it's Maryanne. Thanks for all your hard work in the
Papineau name! I'll keep on checking out the sight.

P.S. My father's family had 12 brothers and sisters. Out of the twelve.
only 5 are still living. The oldest being 90 years old this year. They are
his sister Clarice, Alice, brothers Francis, Valmore and my father Omer.
